"I get a massage at least once a month for lower back and neck problems. I use my massage as a body 'tune-up' to keep it happy and healthy, and as a maintenance tool to help flush out toxins and maintain a pain-free posture.
As much as life puts into destroying my body, I feel good knowing that I try to keep it healthy with a regular massage.
I have to say that I once strayed from my massages. My body rebelled, and I felt a lot of pain and very sluggish. I told myself that would never happen again.
I am now a faithful patron of massage. ". | -- Jeri Keefe, Melbourne, Florida |
While these rates are certainly not the cheapest in the Melbourne area for general massage, they are competitive with rates of other specific deep-tissue bodywork modalities available in Brevard county (Florida). Be sure to always compare price to value in massage therapy.
If you are serious about your health, but need to stay on a budget, I might suggest you check out the page on
discount prepaid massage plans.
It is a great way to save money and stay committed to your health through bodywork. Deciding which discount prepaid massage plan to purchase will
depend on which frequency of massage
is right for you and your situation.
Lastly,
your massage therapy may very well be tax-deductible.
While I can in no way legally give tax advice, your out-of-pocket expenses for massage therapy should count as a federal tax deduction if recommended by a physician with written documentation.

Remember this when comparing therapists for massage therapy:
Ensure you get what you pay for.
As long as you are on-time for your appointment, your session time begins when you get on the table, not when you walk in the room.
I typically talk to you for 5-10 minutes before bodywork begins, sometimes longer if that's what it takes. I need this time to get a sense of how I can help you. But that time does not count against your massage time.
You pay for a 60 minute session--You get at least 60 minutes on the table!
